Troop 272 Meeting Information

Our troop meetings are held most Wednesdays evenings throughout the school year from 7:00pm–9:00pm. We meet in the Old Mill at 9 Old Mill Lane in Rose Valley. An up-to-date calendar of all meetings is available on our calendar page. You can also sync your person calendar to ScoutBook by downloading this .ics file. 

All-Scout Meetings

During troop meetings, Scouts engage in Scout skill challenges, team building opportunities, and troop games. Scouts learn important skills, such as First Aid, which are required for certain merit badges and advancement.

PLC Meetings

Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) is typically held as a monthly meeting where the Troop's elected Senior Patrol Leader (SPL), Assistant Senior Patrol Leader (ASPL), Patrol Leaders, and Scribe gather to plan upcoming troop events.

Special Planning Meetings

​Occasionally Scouts participate in the planning of events such as weekend trips. These meetings take place as needed and are usually mandatory for Scouts attending the trip.
