Fishing Trip | September 12 – 14
|
Troop 272 went on a fishing trip to Rodney Scout Reservation. The scouts had a lot of fun on this trip. Some scouts that did not know how to set up a fishing rod learned how to do so. Everyone that went on the trip had a great experience fishing; some for their first time. Also, they went rifle shooting at the rifle range and they had a great experience. This was also a very good weekend for scouts to strengthen their friendships with one another.

Summer camp 2025 Rodney Scout Reservation | July 20–26
|
This summer, our scout troop took an amazing trip to Rodney Scout Reservation. The weather was perfect the entire time, we had clear skies every day, without a single drop of rain. That made all of our activities even more enjoyable. We spent our days swimming, hiking, practicing scout skills, merit badges and taking part in different camp programs. Evenings were filled with campfires, laughter, and great memories with friends. The trip was not only a chance to learn new skills but also a time to bond as a troop. Overall, it was a fun and unforgettable experience, and everyone came home with stories to tell.

Boy scout troop 272 had an unforgettable trip to Hershey park! The weather was a bit wet at times, but it didn’t slow us down—in fact, the light rain kept some of the crowds away. With almost no lines, we were able to ride all the roller coasters and attractions we wanted, some more than once! Everyone had a great time exploring the park, sharing laughs, and enjoying some sweet Hershey Candy. It was a day full of fun.

Pilgrimage & Encampment Trip | March 7 – 9, 2025
|
The Scouts attended the Cradle of Liberty Council's 2025 Pilgrimage & Encampment Weekend at Fort Washington State Park at Militia Hill. This annual event honors the sacrifice of George Washington and the Continental Army, and is the longest-running, continuous Scouting event in the world!
During this winter camping weekend, our Scouts participated in hand's on activities that help connect them with life in the 1700's and what it was like to be a Continental soldier during the fight for independence. |
