Summer Camp 2025

​Rodney Scout Reservation (Maryland) | July 20–26

Located on over 900 acres of rolling upland woodlands at the head of the Chesapeake Bay, Rodney Scout Reservation boasts of over a mile of prime Chesapeake Bay waterfront and has been in continuous operation since 1923. This year's summer camp is shaping up to be an unforgettable camp experience filled with fun activities, new friendships, and lasting memories! Please see below for important dates and information related to summer camp. 

Departure: Sunday, July 20 from P.I.T. Parking Lot (800 Manchester Ave, Media, PA 19063)

• Gear drop-off at 9am
• Drivers depart at 10am

Return: Saturday, July 26 at P.I.T Parking Lot at 1:30pm

Important dates and information
Due January 29:

• Permission slips signed by Scout and parent. Permission slip is here.
• $100 deposit
  Make checks made payable to: Rose Valley Troop 272, BSA
  Venmo @T272-Rose_Valley (x5954) 
  If paying with Venmo, please add $5 to cover fees

February 26:

• Summer Camp Merit Badge Selection (at the Troop Meeting)

Due April 23:

• Remaining payment of $250 per Scout and $100 per adult

Due May 28:

• 2 copies of BSA Medical Forms Parts A, B and C with Part C signed by a doctor
• 2 copies of medical insurance cards
• If taking medication: Routine Drug Administration Form
• If food allergies or dietary restrictions: Food Allergy and Dietary Accommodations form
